R8D Innovations Inc. is responsible for information collected through r8d.ca and project inquiries. Contact us at hello@r8d.ca.
Information you provide
When you contact us, you may provide your name, work email, company, role, project focus, timeline, message, and any attribution parameters included in the link you used. Please do not submit credentials, private source code, customer records, financial information, or sensitive personal information.
The optional marketing-consent choice is independent of your request for a project conversation. It is not pre-selected.
How the contact form works
The current website is a static site. Until a connected intake endpoint is configured, the form prepares a message in your own email application. The form does not transmit its contents to an R8D server, and the website does not assign a persistent visitor identifier.
Session-only campaign attribution parameters may be stored in your browser for the current tab session so they can be included in an email inquiry. This information is not used for advertising or cross-site profiling.
How we use information
We use project-inquiry information to understand the request, respond, assess whether our services are relevant, maintain an accurate business conversation, and protect the operation of the website. If you expressly opt in, we may also send occasional technical or project notes. We do not sell personal information.
Scheduling a call
When you choose to book a call, the booking page opens on Proton Calendar in a new tab. Proton may collect the information needed to schedule the meeting, such as your name, email address, time zone, and selected time. The booking page is not embedded in r8d.ca, so its code does not load inside this website. R8D receives the booking details needed to prepare for and hold the conversation.
Service providers and security
Information may be handled by infrastructure, email, and calendar providers that support the website and business communications, including Proton Calendar for scheduling. Those providers act under appropriate contractual and security terms. We retain access only as needed to operate the service, respond, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Cookies and analytics
The current website does not set advertising cookies, does not load a third-party analytics tracker, and does not require a cookie banner for the site’s core content. If privacy-reviewed analytics are added, this notice and the website’s data practices will be updated before collection begins.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information held by R8D, subject to applicable exceptions. You may withdraw optional marketing consent at any time. A withdrawal does not affect prior lawful consent or the handling needed to complete an existing project relationship.
Retention
Project inquiries are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described above and applicable business, tax, professional, security, or legal requirements. Consent evidence for any future marketing program will be retained according to the applicable legal requirements.
Changes
This notice may change when the site, providers, analytics, or legal obligations change. Material updates will be reflected by a revised date and, where appropriate, additional notice.
